How Do I Use the Name Change Service?

The Name Change service only applies name changes during our bi-weekly maintenance. With this service your character will also receive an "identity change" (not physical appearance) meaning that your Hit List in game will be wiped as well. Please note that once a name change has been registered your character will be inaccessible until the following bi-weekly maintenance period.

First you will have to seal your character from the game client to allow it to access the Website services. Once your character is sealed go to www.playrohan.com and log into your account. Select the Exchange Market drop down section and go to Special Services. Select "Name Change" and locate the character and server you wish to change the name of. Upon entering a new character name you will first have to confirm it's availability before you can continue. Once a character name has been selected your character will be inaccessible until our next bi-weekly maintenance when the name change applies.

Some reports have been received of issues with a selected name not confirming properly which does not allow a user to proceed with their name change. These are typically browser related issues from the system this is being attempted on. Please first try using a different browser or different system if possible. If you are still unable to change your character's name please contact our support staff by submitting a ticket including your character's name and new desired character's name so that we may assist you with these further.
